Biography:
Prof. Chuang finished his B.A, M.A and PhD study in Department of Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 2007. Then he worked as a post-doctor under the supervision of Professor Chun Chen Liao in Department of Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University for two years. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Professor Tobias Ritter in Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University. In 2011, he joined in Department of Chemistry from Chung Yuan Christian University as an assistant professor. And he became an associate professor in 2015. Prof. Chuang’s research interests have been related to photoinduced rearrangements, aerobic reactions, bimetallic catalysis and syntheses of natural. He acquired many awards such as the 11th Asian Core Program (ACP) Lectureship Award (to China) in 2016, the 12th Asian Core Program (ACP) Lectureship Award (to Korea) in 2017 and CYCU Excellence Teaching Award.
