Abstract:
In this seminar, Dr. Cobley will introduce the journal of ChemNanoMat regarding its aims, scope, and publishing policies. As an editor, Dr. Cobley will also talk about the whole procedures for publishing a scientific paper in a journal, especially journals from Wiley.
Short BIOGRAPHY
Claire Cobley obtained her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Brown University, followed by a master's degree from the University of Washington, and a PhD from Washington University in St. Louis. She performed her PhD research on the synthesis and biomedical applications of noble metal nanostructures in the group of Younan Xia. She went on to do postdoctoral work with Joachim Spatz at the University of Heidelberg and Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems before joining Wiley-VCH to work on Chemistry—A European Journal in February 2013 and then ChemNanoMat in September 2014. She is now the Managing Editor of ChemNanoMat.
