二、职位介绍

Job Title: Intern-industrial coating application 

Division : Advanced Materials.
Location : Shanghai, PRC, APAC
Reports to: Team leader, specialty components.         

Department: Regional Technology APAC.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To prepare sample and conduct wet/dry testing according to requirement;

• To generate accurate and reproducible data;

• To comply technical reports and handle related technical documents;

• To develop and improve testing capability of coating and keep track on latest test standards & requirement;

• To review procedures and methods and make enhancement suggestions;

• To maintain lab EHS and house-keeping standard
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• A master degree in physical/organic/inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science, interfacial science,  materials chemistry or chemical engineering.
• CET-4, good English reading and communication skill.
Experiences:
• At least 3 months work experience in industrial coating, particularly construction flooring and anti-corrosive coating area. Experience in epoxy area is preferred.

Technology Competencies:
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in coating testing, including wet properties and dry sample performance testing;
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in coating technologies, including substrate preparation.
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in the mechanical characterization and testing of themoset coating material systems
• Demonstrate a basic to intermediate level of practice in materials processing structure-property-performance relationships and structure property mapping of coatings and adhesives
• Demonstrate a basic level of practice in coating rheology, and its use in the coating processing and application.
• Demonstrate an basic to intermediate level of practice in O/W emulsion and its application/processing in coating.
• Demonstrate a basic level of practice in chemical hazard classification and toxicology
